Lincolns Sparrow fall 2025. A secretive sparrow, John Audubon named this bird after his travel partner Thomas Lincoln on a trip to the Canadian Labrador coast in 1833. Known for it's rich song.

Male Palm Warbler on an Octobers first light during their fall migration. These guys breed in the Boreal forest of Canada and winter in South Eastern US, Florida, Central America, some Caribbean islands and parts of Mexico. In between these times, they fly over the Eastern half of the US. An easy way to identify them is their constant tail wagging. like a dog, but instead of side to side, the birds is up and down.

Breeding in Canada and the Northern US including CT and wintering as far as Cuba, Guatemala and Nicaragua -
Indigo Bunting. Quite the contrast from its spring and summer feathers for a male but it may be a female.
